First time back in the US in over 13 months! Went to St. Louis for about a week to see the family, see friends, and eat tons of food.

I was actually able to take some pretty good pictures from the plane to the US. These are some mountains in California. I think. |

I had a few hours layover in LAX while waiting for my flight to St. Louis, so I had some Starbucks and also ate some nachos. You will never find nachos this big, good, and/or greasy in Japan. |
My Mom had to go to this crappy "Japanese" restaurant with my aunt. Pretty authentic Japanese food, I'd say. |
My Dad's reaction to seeing the above food. |
My name is on the wall at Growler's Pub for the beer tasting club. I think you need like 30 different beers? Not really all that impressive considering it's taken me almost 3 years to get to this status. But since I'm only in St. Louis 3 or 4 weeks a year it makes sense. |
I missed Target more than any other store, I think. |
Costco let me trade my old iPod for the newest one, and they also gave me $50. Gotta love lenient return policies! |
Catfish! Amazing. |
This guy at Blueberry Hill in the background was crazy. I think he was either on drugs or completely drunk when he first arrived. He was drinking an entire pitcher by himself as he mumbled random stuff. Then he started yelling "ketchup!" when he needed some for his fries. |
It took far too many takes to get a picture where we were both smiling correctly. |
Denny's! Classic American diner-type food. And we even had classic American terrible service! Too bad the cop at the door prevented us from doing a dine and dash, even after Mueller abandoned us and went to his car. |
To a lot of Japanese, Americans all shoot guns all the time
So, I went to a clay shooting range to make them all proud.

I look extra bald in this one. |
My brother Al looks way too comfortable with this shotgun. |
My parents at dim sum. Real dim sum. This was great. I think we ate like a million dishes. |
If I could only eat pizza from 1 place for the rest of my life, it would hands down be Cecil Whitakers. |
