Ari in from LA and Bryan down from Ibaraki? Time to have a reunion and hit up Y's!
These are pics from the weekend of March 24-26, when Ari got in.

Ari just got in from the airport, complete with his giant backpack from which he will be living from for the next few months as he travels Asia. Standing outside Sega World in Chiba. |
Karaoke all-nighter at Utahiro. Notice the door is open and Brian is near it. That means hallway singing. |
CREEPY WEIRD LITTLE GUY! He grabbed groped Brian (rear) and Bryan (front). As if that wasn't bad enough, he had the gall to put Jack Johnson on our karaoke machine. We gave him the boot. |
After only 4 hours of sleep, we went to the Jumbo Flea Market at Makuhari Messe, which was a complete disappointment. Too bad Bryan didn't at least by the Land Rover they had there. |
Makuhari is probably my favorite place in the entire country. Here's the classic shot of the Techno Garden sandwiching the Sumitomo Chemical Engineering Building. |

Kaihim Makuhari Station. |

Nothing beats returning to Y's and of course re-claiming our seats at the center counter. |
Duy, Minami, Ari |
A-Team represented at this glorious return to Y's.
Ari is also demonstrating the "International Style" of using chopsticks, as we learned in the Rahmens Japanese Tradition documentary. |
Dessert as usual summons every female in the place to jump and rush the buffet. And somehow Bryan's friend Jay made it up there without getting trampled. |
Duy and Bryan go in for the assault on the table of young nurses who were sitting at our counter for a while but then moved to a table. |
As usual, the group photos started up. |
Haha the nurses came over for a picture. |
Bryan is not out of control. |
Synchronizing digital watches.
Or something. |
Does this look familiar?
Maybe from back in 2004? Hint.
Good to see a lot of things never change. |
