Ghibli Museum out in Mitaka. There were a lot of kids as usual but it was cool to walk around, since I hadn't been here in a few years. They changed the movie though, so no more Catbus special film - this time it was about some dog taking a walk. Not as bad as it sounds. |
The giant robot from some Ghibli movie I've never seen. Laputa maybe? Either way it's sweet. |
What's that in the background? Oops. |
Obligatory sakura macro shot. |
Again. |
Giant buildings in Shinjuku. I like how they're perfectly lined up. |
Square-Enix Store in Shinjuku. It was my first time there, but really sweet. |
Sephiroth sleeping in the glass floor. |
One day I will own all of these stuffed animals, and they will do absolutely nothing but look awesome on some couch. |
Chocobo wearing witch clothes or something. |
Haha yeah. |
Korirakkuma hanging out outside Club Sega in Shinjuku. He likes pancakes and taking naps, but who doesn't. |
Boss of them all since 1993. And Alien Jones. |
We finally got back to Y's!
Took Steve to experience the happiest place on Earth. He was pretty impressed, I'd say. The Nikka was flowing and everything was awesome. The only casualty was Steve's glasses, which he stepped on outside as we left. I taped them back together. |
Mikey showed up late of course, but only like 10 minutes. And he rocked out with dessert buffet, avoiding being trampled by thousands of women wanting cake. |
The chocolate muffins didn't taste like chocolate. Or muffins. They were actually pretty gross. |
I have no idea what she was doing here. K's. |
Probably the only good use for the gross chocolate muffins. |
Me, Jini, and Mikey. All of us looking pretty normal for a picture, considering the probably that at least one of us would be making a weird face is about 90%. |
Representing the A-Team, old school style. |
Steve met the King of Blenders. |
Jini and Steve, both experience their first Y's ever. Their lives have been forever changed for the better. |
Matsushita-san, awesome as usual. One day we will have an A-Team wedding at Y's. Or perhaps a funeral if Seth gets stabbed by some Korean mafia guys before that. Either way we'll play Kishidan over the speakers. |
Mikey and Yoko, each holding Y's beer steins. |
Karaoke all night at Hongo. A good end to a great Y's night. Although everyone ended up falling asleep by 3AM or so. |
