Me at the Edo-Tokyo Museum in Ryogoku. This was the day after the first typhoon I got the experience, but I didn't die. |
Old people came to our Japanese class this morning, much to my surprise. They're in a club for writing senryuu (like haiku poems). I wrote a senryuu about the effeminately dressed male Kanda students. |
For Bryan's birthday, we bought him a big cake from Costco (just like American Costco). Of course when I brought it into Y's, I told everyone that I made it (yeah right, man Anthony that was funny). Well, apparently the Korean girls didn't get it, and went on for about a week beleiving I'm some kind of super Iron Baker. Bahahahaha. |
If I had to see this, you will too. I'm bringing you all down with me! Apparently these guys (who were in a private room at Y's) got jealous of Ari and Bryan's Gaijin Voltron and decided to create a "Naked Drunken Salaryman Voltron." Oh the horror the horror. |
Seth, Mikey, and me. Mikey's eyes are messed up or something, as he has his eyes closed in 90% of all pictures taken. I recommended he correct this problem by banging his head into the wall a few times. |
I thought this was hillarious at the time, but now I think it's just kinda weird. We walked way past the normal path in Harajuku and found a weird hippy section of town, although they had tacos. |
All the people from our Japanese class who were at Y's that night. Ummm do you think maybe Bryan (back right) had a few to drink this night? I wonder..... |
Yeah that's right, not only do we always get the same table at Y's, and are regulars there, but the tencho (manager) Matsushita-san even started putting out the "Reserved" sign for us. Oh man it's great. |
I went to another convention at Makuhari Messe. This time was "Entertainment Market." Video games, anime, and comics. Not as crowded as TGS, but still really really awesome. Let's look at pictures from this show now.... |
After I took this picture, the three of them got up and ate all of Tokyo. Then they bowed and said "gochisou sama deshita." |
My twin brother! No wait it's Domo-kun! |
Someone please tell me what Inuyasha is doing to Hamtaro. |
These have got to be the creepiest things I've ever seen. So of course I took my picture with them. Ari and I agree that they're probably guys inside those giant eyed masks. |
Big Bird! And then he bit my head off. |
The new model of PS2 is really awesome. It's just barely bigger (and thick as) a DVD case. |
Just for tradition's sake (see the TGS pic page), let's end the page with me and a booth girl dressed in some goofy outfit. Banzai Japan! Woohoo
