A whole bunch of us in the Men's room at Techno Garden. Seth is there, but you can't see him. |
Then some of us in the Ladies's room. Oh notice that I got the waitress from Hana no Mai (Naomi) to come along on this night. |
Oh, there's Seth! Haha he had a rough night. But this is such an awesome picture! The core outside in the Techno Garden. |
Japan's not really christian or anything, but Christmas is a huge deal over there. Probably because people spend so much money there on stuff. Here's us outside of the MTG with lights and stuff in the background. |
First day of shooting for "Chikyuu Kankyou Hogo Senshi Spiderman," (Earth Environmental Protection Warrior Spiderman), statting Derek and Bryan, and directed by me. Obviously we had nothing better to do. |
We went to the Studio Ghibili Museum in Mitaka. Here's me in front of one of the giant robots, from a Miyazaki movie that I haven't seen. Maybe Laputa? I don't know, but it was pretty cool and standing on the roof of the main building. |
Mikey and Heson got married once or twice near the end of the semester. Then it started creepily changing from a joke into something weird, so Mikey had to bail. Oh this is a funny picture though, mocking that damn Korean guy and "Fuyu Sonata" |
Wow there are sure a lot of Y's pictures this month. This was the last official night (before Sayonara party, before people started leaving). It was sad. Here Yuji takes the plunge and eats the fish's eyeball. He then got up and left to puke. |
Continuing the tradition, this is me eating part of the fish head. This was from the inside of the head, maybe like the brain or something, I'm not actually sure. It was kind of slimy and fishy though... |
Classic Kishidan pose at Y's. And Yuji's doing it now too! |
Me and Seth with Matsushita-san, the manager at Y's. He's awesome, and kept our counter ready for us every week. I got his business card on the very very last day. Fun times. |
What the heck, we might as well get one of the cute waitresses in a picture also! |
A-Team core in front of the Y's buffet. |
Last day of Anime class, Prof. Aoyagi made us all draw stuff on the board. I have no idea what half of those kids drew, they're all so weird. |
The aftermath of our table after the Gyoza-eating Challenge at Bikkuri. Note once again (if you didn't read in my blog), that Bryan and I tied with a bowl of ramen and 42 gyoza each. We rule.
SAYONARA PARTY! This entire week was rediculous for me; I was sleeping like 3 hours a night trying to finish up 2 videos, study minimally for Japanese exams, and write some final papers. I made it (pretty much), for the last big bash. Of course I arranged for it to be at Y's, although it wasn't the same as usual. |
Me and Super Sayokon. Good picture, except my tie was crooked. |
The crowd in awe as they watch the somewhat poorly and last-minute put together video I made. I think pretty much everyone liked it. But I think they liked the Spiderman movie I also made even more. |
After the videos, the A-Team was taking pictures. And I am completely serious about this, we were like celebrities. People were taking pictures of us who we didn't even know, we must just be that cool. Or at least by comparison to the other IES kids.
Mikey's host dad joined us, for a change. I don't think he even knew what we were doing, but he looks like he was having fun. You say?
Another awesome picture. Japan won't be the same without us.
Mii looks kind of scared in confused in this one. Notice one again how we're all looking in different directions, since about 10 cameras were taking pics of us.
Sunny, one of the actually cool girls on IES. I think there were like 3. Anyways, she taught be how to say perverted old man in Cantonese, and she's hillarious. Her social org. presentation was classic.
Kanako was lucky enough to go to Bikkuri Ramen with me the next week for the final trip there. It was sad saying goodbye (to Bikkuri Ramen). Haha.
What better way to end the IES pictures than with me and Dr. Hirose, Center Director? I don't know what kind of pose this is, but it's kind of scary. He's a good guy though.
Well, that's the end of IES technically. It was great, everyone.
