On top of not being packed, etc, I'm really glad in general that I got to spend an extra week there after the program ended (as opposed to leaving the morning after the Sayonara Party, like Mikey, Bryan, and Ari). Japan definitley is different without everyone there and without having to go to school, but it was still fun.

These folk are all teachers at the high school I worked at, Takanawadai. The guy in the middle had the party, he was Canadian. I was at the party for about 15 minutes and decided it was a little too weird for me. Good people though. |
Derek and I went to Jump Festa at the Messe. Pretty much all the Shonen Jump comic characters, and stuff related to that. They had a cosplay contest, and these freaky kids dressed up like Naruto characters looked pretty good. Especially the Gaara in the middle; he looked a little crazy. |
Derek and I got our diplomas! From the Ninja Academy... |
Here's me at the Hokage's desk, getting my diploma as well. Notice the awesome ANBU masks on the back wall there. |
Even though Dragonball's been over for like 15 years, it's still one of the most popular things over there. As proof: a giant inflated Goku and dragon, which almost touched the celing of the convention center. |
Me, Derek, Takeo, Isoroku, Pak-san, and Hiroaki at this restaurant called Kuruma in Tokyo. Really nice and really expensive. Lots of fun though. I had chicken sashimi and other weird stuff like that. |
IES was out, but we still went to SALC a few times. Here, Seth points out the nice computer faciities. The fact that the Playboy girl is sitting there also is pure coincidence. |
Blanchard came to Japan! So of course I had to be a good host and take him to Y's. Happiest place on Earth, man. |
The longer we knew Heson, the more the tended to just pass out on the table, on the benches, in other rooms, etc. I dunno. I don't think Brian understood it either. |
Me and Derek will mess you up. Or at least, Derek will mess you up and I will laugh at you. |
The girls, as expected, wanted to go take the PuriKura pictures. |
My very last trip to Kanda, I had to take a picture of SALC. Here you can see the computers that we always screwed around at, and the yellow couches where all the weirdos used to hang out. Weirdos include Starey, the stupid foreign teachers, and others. |
Last Wednesday in town, went out with Hiroko and Nana. And look who we happened to run into that night...
Yep, Sayoko! So I got this picture with both of them. A-Team knows why this picture is so funny and ironic. It's because Nana and Sayoko are such good friends! (Right Tre?) |
I never got around to taking many pictures of school, my dorm, etc until the very end. Here's my room, but it's a little messier than normal since I was mid-packing. |
Bikkuri Ramen! The greatest and cheapest ramen and gyoza in the entire country. |
Got to hang out with Kieran and Elida on my very last night in Japan. Oh man more karaoke.
The MiniStop that I used to talk past everyday between the dorm and the train station. It's a good place, but their stupid jingle (that they play every 5 seconds in the store) makes you want to rip your ears off.
Another memorable monument along the way home: the GNOME HOUSE! This freaky house had an army of 10 or so gnomes on the outside. And they were all facing TOWARDS THE HOUSE! What the heck.
Here's my dorm, Dormy Baraki Nakayama.
Well, that was the end of my semester in Japan. It was one of the greatest semesters ever. I'm sure I'll be going back sometime for an internship or work or something. Anyone want to give me an offer? Heh? haha...
