Tokyo Game Show 2004. In case you forgot where you were going. |
A bunch of girls from the Genki booth. Also, for some reason, two samurai. |
A shot of the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater booth. It played a 15 or 20 minute trailer for the game on a continuous loop. Hideo Kojima, the game's creator, was there for a bit, but I was in the Advent Children line waiting. |
Me and a....umm.....something. |
Haha, the funny thing is, her umbrella is probably made of more fabric than her entire outfit. But she's sitting on a car, so that makes it alright. |
Unlike at Otakon (or anywhere in the US), cosplayers can possibly look good and accurate. These girls are from Final Fantasy XI, I am told. |
However, not all cosplayers look good. This guy needs to be kicked in the balls. HARD. |
It's the PSP! Yeah I actually got to play this racing game on it. The screen is rediculously huge and bright. Too bad no really awesome games are coming out for it as of now. Also too bad that I'm not willing to pay $350 for it. |
It's actually not this big, otherwise it might actually be worth $350. |
This girl's promoting a game called Lineage II, which I've never heard of. Ah well. |
Capcom's entire booth had these awesome neon green circle things on it. The games they featured were Devil May Cry 3, Viewtiful Joe 2, and the new Resident Evil. |
Greatest ad campaign ever. Make a new FF7 game for Docomo phones, then use the Cloud model from Advent Children to sell the phones that you can play the game on. Yes, that phone is awesome. |
Instead of paperboys, Japan has all their print publications distributed in the streets by girls dressed like this. Not really, but they're always up for new innovations here. |
Japanese nerds love video games, girls in weird costumes, and pointless neon lights. Oh wait, so do I... |
This girl from the Bandai booth wouldn't leave me along until I took my picture with her. Well, gotta keep the fans happy.....haha oh what a lie that was, I can't even keep a straight face. |
Last picture of the convention floor as I left at closing time, 5PM. |
