Final week in Japan: July 23-28

Me, Ari, Ari's bro Josh, and Yuji went to Shinjuku to eat Fugu, the poisonus puffer fish. It was expensive, so we only got 2 plates, but it was pretty good. And no one died, so that was a plus.

Ari's brother chowing down. This is an awesome picture.

The next day, the brothers Dybnis left Japan to head to China, in search of cheap food and bootleg movies. Ari decides about 15 minutes before he has to leave that he should cancel his phone...

And even after he left, things weren't really resolved, since Ari never paid his July bill. I think they ended up conning Yuji into putting down his address, and they'll probably send him the bill. AU just lost 2 months of bills. Ari is a genious.

Last pic before Ari and Josh left for China. One last kancho, also.

Before I forget, here is a pic of my Japanese "mansion" apartment.

My sleeping mat. I felt like Tommy O'Brien every night!

Door. I don't know why I took this picture, it's only a door.

My last night in Japan, at Hana no Mae.

We ordered Aji sashimi. Apparently they take the aji fish out of the tank, chop off the side meat, and skewer the rest. Then they put it all on ice and deliver it to your table. The fish is still moving when you get it! It was really awesome.

Pretty much everyone took a picture with the fish. It was still jumping and could watch as I ate a big chunk of its flesh. Muwahahaha.

The gang outside of Hana no Mae, in front of the closed Carrefour gates.

Me and Shin-san.

Me and Emi doing the classic Turn-A at the arcade for some last purikura.

This picture didn't turn out well, but it's still awesome. Some salaryman passed out on a train at Nishi-funabashi station. Moments later, the train attendant came to poke him and get him off the train.

Pretty much, this is why Ms. Karen Bucks came to Japan.

At the small park outside Myoden station, where my apartment is, there is this small hut. It's actually an outhouse, and when you pee in it everyone walking by can see you. But I guess if you gotta go, you gotta go.

And that's the end of pictures from Japan for this trip!
