First Friday back in Japan, of course we went to Y's. Trevor came in for about 2 weeks also, so it was like old times. We just need the rest of the A-Team back! |
Heson and Eunhee are still here. |
Seth brought the Habushu from Okinawa. |
...and Ari brought the fish eyeball from the buffet line. |
Like the first weekend back, or maybe the second, we went to Kappa Bashi, near Asakusa, where they make all the fake food for restaurants to put outside. Also this is the restaurant supply district, so if you need napkins or aprons with pandas on them, this is the place. |
Me and a fake pig. The pig is awesome though because on his chest it says "Irasshaimase." The butchershop that buys this is a lucky store. |
The most delicious looking food that you can never eat. And it's still about 10 times more expensive than normal food. Now you know why Bikkuri Ramen doesn't have plastic food models. |
YES! GO ME!
Go where? I have no idea. |
Me and Ari had our fun, cracking jokes and jabbing Ultraman in the crotch. Then he got angry and kicked us in the head. |
The sweet toystore, Yamashiroya (or something) in Ueno always has the weirdest toys. I have no idea when they made a black smurf, but he looks pissed. |
The Dark Towe....er, I mean the IES Tokyo Center.
On the day of arrival for the summer kids. |
Shin-san leads some orientation session for the new kids. He has to answer such retarted questions as "are Japanese trains like choo-choo trains?" |
At the end of soba noodle making. I'm not in the picture, but you can see all the summer kids etc. |
I will very likely buy one of these penguins before I leave the country. It's not like I don't have enough plastic junk as it is. |
At the arcades this day, between me, Seth, and Seth's friend Blood, we must have spent a net of over 2500 yen (like 25 bucks) trying to get this stupid Charizard. Finally, I got him in the end.
And I think Mii spend like 2000 yen on this other game at the arcade, until she finally got the mountain of KitKats. We all were hovering around the machine, and cheered when she finally got it. |
