Well, although I have my history midterm paper due tomorrow, I decided to waste my entire evening doing other stuff. Here’s a wrapup of what I did:

1) added a bunch of new pictures (including Nagano) to the pictures page

2) made a claw out of aluminum foil for my left hand (for the belated IES Halloween Party tomorrow night)

3) read some of the first volume of GTO manga

4) did laundry

Oh, but it’s OK. My History of Tokyo midterm paper isn’t as bad as it may sound. In fact, it’s ridiculously easy. I have to write a 2 page (double spaced) OPINION paper on why some people consider history to be useless. Oh man, let the BSing begin. Hope you enjoy the new pictures I put up. It wouldn’t have taken so long if I hadn’t been a moron and not realized that I messed up the caps in some of my HTML code (although I use Dreamweaver for the bulk of it). Ah well, it all works now…

Back from Nagano. It was a lot of fun. Not a relaxing vacation exactly, but a really fun trip. Ninja town was obviously the most fun place! Also watching monkeys bathe in their own hot spring was fun. I’ll try to post some stories soon. I’ll get some pictures up soon also; it’s been a while since I’ve done that.

Sunday was pretty fun: went to the “Entama” (Entertainment Market) which was a lot like TGS, even at the same place (Makuhari Messe). Not as many booths or people, but I almost think it was better. Mainly concentrated on anime stuff, and had a lot of stuff you could buy. I spent about $40 on Naruto stuff, which includes a metal Hidden Sand Village head protector, a stuffed Pakkun doll, and a Sharingan wristband. Ah well. 🙂

I’m getting ready to go to Nagano as we speak. I’ll be there until Sunday evening. Staying in a temple then a ryokan (Japanese style inn), soaking in all sorts of hot springs with “magical powers,” going to places like a Ninja theme park, etc. I probably won’t be posting until I get back.
