I’ve noticed that when I’m not busy, I don’t post on here as much. I guess the constant sleeping and watching TV doesn’t require the distraction that I usually use this Blog for (when I’m supposed to be doing homework). This last week was one of the most relaxing/least busy this semester, so it was nice. It’s now the very beginning of the second-to-last week of classes. Two more weeks of this (only 8 days of classes), then some finals, and the year is over. I’m pretty happy about that. I have a few projects and such to finish up this week and stuff, but I’m not anticipating any of them to be too tough. Then finals, which shouldn’t be bad, and that’s all.

I still haven’t figured out what I’m doing this summer. Hopefully I’ll know that before the end of the month. My main two options are that FDA international internship, and then 1 other G-14 Classified mission. Lets see if either of those pull through. I think I can also get a few other internships, if I can get class credit. I’m not in the telecom school or anything, but maybe the B-school will help me pull some of these TV/media-related internships. TokyoPop translates Japanese comics for the US and they have an internship program I could probably get into fairly easily. Still, Japan would be my top choice. I dunno, I just want to get back there, even though realistically I will probably be working there in about a year.

Now off to the laundry mat to clean 2 weeks of clothes, then the office the work on the ice cream episode of Rate Your Plate.

I’ve seen this picture/book many times, but I just thought I’d share it. I’m sure I’m not the only one who finds it a little….weird. hahaha. Kakashi, what are you doing!?

Things are pretty non-eventful here. It’s nice to spend time back at home and all, but it’s no Tokyo. Not that I’m experiencing any “culture shock” or related BS. I am, however, a bit jet lagged, meaning that my sleep schedule it really messed up. I guess I do this whenever I’m home on break though anyways, haha. I just sleep at really weird times. I’m going to try to go out with some friends tomorrow night, at the very least for the sole purpose of trying to get back into a “regular” life and schedule here.

Oh, and I just uploaded the last of my Japan pictures. One gallery is for the last few weeks of IES, including the Sayonara party, and the last for the final week I had after classes were over. Enjoy. Japan sure was a lot of fun.

I put up new pictures last night. Spent yesterday at the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka. Did you know they made a 14 minute short movie about the Cat Bus from Totoro? Like a special episode or something. Got to see a baby Catbus, the whole family (including a CatTrain), and the old grandpa Catbus who was like a space shuttle. Awesome.

Ate Yakiniku for dinner. Mii’s mom took us all out. Oh man I must have eaten half a cow. I might write more about yesterday, but right now I have to get going to SALC to start ediitng. I’m late the the time I reserved the editing room; hopefully I can still use it some this morning.

Had no idea they were making this. Maybe that’s what I get for being in Japan. Jessica Alba is playing Invisible Woman, and the bald guy from “The Shield” is The Thing. Wasn’t he also The Commish?
